February is Heritage Month in Burlington!

Residents are invited to learn more about the events and issues that have shaped Burlington and Canada by attending the informative sessions planned throughout the month. Topics and events will include Black history, First Nations, Freeman Station, Burlington architecture, movies, panel discussions, stories and more. Feb. 1 — 1 to 4 p.m. — Launch at St. John's Anglican Church, followed by a tour of Ireland House Museum from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Feb. 1 to 28 — Black History Month Exhibition at Art Gallery of Burlington

Feb. 2 — 10:45 a.m. — 2nd Annual Winter Downtown Burlington Heritage Walk (meet at Tourism Burlington)

Feb. 2 — Tales by Midnight (Alton Library)

Feb. 3, 10, 17 & 24 — 1 to 4 p.m. Family Open Sundays at the Art Gallery of Burlington

Feb. 4 — 7 p.m. Memories of Brant St. (Central Library)

Feb. 5 — 2 to 4 p.m. — Black History Special Screening «Show Girls» (Central Library)
